Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes joins a jump team to bust a foreign child prostitution ring.

Last October Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes went undercover in a sting operation to free child sex slaves in Columbia, South America. Utah’s media showered the clandestine operation with glowing coverage, coverage that undoubtedly helped the sting’s organizer—Operation Underground Railroad—put more money into its tax-exempt coffers.

What the press did not report is that the Utah charity may be making highly inflated claims about the extent of child sex slave trafficking in the United States. And the organization was not registered to raise money in Utah, a possible criminal offense if the failure to register was willful.
